1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Valheim Reforged (the “Service”) at reforged.community, our Discord, servers, launcher, or related tools, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts & Authentication

We use third-party sign-in to verify identity and manage entitlements:

• Discord: We connect to your Discord account to obtain your Discord user ID and username (and to confirm your server membership/roles).
• Steam: We connect to your Steam account to obtain your Steam ID, display name, and public Valheim playtime (hours) as exposed by Steam.
• Patreon: We connect to Patreon to verify your support status/tiers and to obtain your Patreon display name and email address (where available).

By linking any third-party account, you authorize us to retrieve the information described above solely to operate the Service, verify eligibility, and assign access. You may disconnect third-party accounts at any time via the relevant platform. Doing so may affect your access to features that require verification.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts and devices. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Access, Entitlements & Distribution

Distribution method. All Valheim Reforged downloads and updates are provided exclusively through the official Valheim Reforged Launcher, which retrieves the required files from our file server. Manual downloads, mirrors, rehosts, or direct access to the file server are not permitted or supported. Access to Closed BETA features is SteamID-locked and may require linking Discord/Steam/Patreon to verify eligibility. If your connected status changes or you attempt to bypass the Launcher/whitelist, access may be downgraded or revoked. A legitimate copy of Valheim (e.g., via Steam) is required to play..

5. Donations & Patreon Support

Where applicable, donations and recurring support are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Patreon). Those transactions are governed by the provider’s terms and policies. We do not store any full payment card data on our servers.

The Valheim Reforged Mod Pack is always free of charge. Donations and Patreon support are entirely optional.

6. User Content & Conduct

You are responsible for any content you submit or share and for your behavior while using the Service. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or the rules of the relevant platforms (Discord, Steam, Patreon).
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others; promote hate or illegal activities.
• Upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with servers.
• Exploit bugs, use cheats, bots, or automation to gain unfair advantages.
• Infringe intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others.
• No redistribution. You may not re-upload, mirror, share, or distribute Valheim Reforged files (modified or unmodified), nor provide tools or instructions to bypass the Launcher/whitelist, without our prior written consent.

We may moderate content and enforce community standards at our discretion.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with or links to third-party platforms, including but not limited to Discord, Steam, and Patreon. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Data & Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it, including data obtained via Discord, Steam (including Valheim playtime), and Patreon. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & Modifications

We may alter, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, servers, or access rules. We are not liable for downtime or data loss. We may apply updates, patches, or configuration changes without notice.

10. Intellectual Property

All content we provide (including site content, artwork, branding, and custom tools) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works unless permitted by law or by written permission. Valheim and Steam are trademarks of their respective owners.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits; data loss; or service interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service immediately, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms, harmful behavior, or risk to the community, our infrastructure, or third parties.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this site and become effective when published unless stated otherwise. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
